Das reicht völlig aus, damit der Tacho sofort auf jede Geschwindigkeitsänderung des Motorrads reagieren kann. Um diese Effizienz aufrechtzuerhalten, benötigt Keeway Matrix 50 jedoch ein Kabel, das gut gepanzert und regelmäßig geschmiert ist. Andernfalls behindert das Tachokabel schnell die Übertragung von Informationen aus dem Antrieb und stört die Funktion des Zählers. Fehler bei der Installation und Einstellung des Kabels hingegen führen dazu, dass die Angaben auf dem Zähler von Anfang an falsch sind. Damit drohen nicht nur rechtliche Probleme, sondern vor allem Gefahren im Straßenverkehr.
