Nicht jeder Anschluss der elektrischen Anlage eines Motorrads erfordert einen komplexen, speziellen Stecker. Selbst bei großen und schweren modernen Motorrädern gibt es noch universelle, einfache Steckverbinder. Was es über sie zu wissen gibt? Beachten Sie die folgenden Punkte.
Wo finde ich Steckverbinder an meinem Motorrad?
.Steckverbinder am Motorrad finden Sie im Grunde überall dort, wo Sie zwei oder mehr elektrische Leitungen miteinander verbinden müssen. Dabei kann es sich um eine feste und unlösbare Verbindung handeln, um eine lösbare, wenn das Bauteil geöffnet wird, oder um eine aufsteckbare. Bei letzterem wird ein Steckverbinder in der Regel als ein Bauteil bezeichnet, das direkt Strom überträgt. Das Gehäuse, das das Einstecken und Herausziehen ermöglicht, ist dagegen ein mehr oder weniger komplexer Würfel.
>Wie wird eine Verbindung mit einem Steckverbinder hergestellt?
.Wie man mit Motorradsteckern eine Verbindung herstellt, hängt von der Bauart des Steckers ab. Beim Aufstecken steckt man in der Regel die Buchse und den Stecker in ein Gehäuse, mit dem man den Stromkreis einfach verbinden kann. Bei Ringsteckern verwendet man eine Schraubverbindung, während man bei festen Steckern oft einen Lötkolben oder zumindest ein Steckerwerkzeug benötigt.
Wie wähle ich einen Stecker für mein Motorrad aus?
.Bei der Suche nach dem besten Kabelanschluss sollte man nicht nur auf die Abmessungen des Bauteils und die leichte Lösbarkeit achten, sondern auch auf die Parameter des zu übertragenden Stroms und die Art und Weise, wie der Anschluss vor äußeren Einflüssen wie Wasser geschützt ist. Oft wird die Wahl durch den Standort des Anschlusses bestimmt oder durch den Hersteller des betreffenden Geräts oder Motorrads eingeschränkt.
Sind Motorradstecker universell?
.Die elektrischen Steckverbinder selbst sind einfache und im Wesentlichen universelle Bauteile. Unterschiede gibt es hier vor allem in den Abmessungen des Steckers und in den Materialien, die zur Herstellung des Steckers und seiner Abdeckung verwendet werden. Komplizierter sind nur Motorradsteckverbinder, bei denen neben den Abmessungen auch die Anzahl und Lage der Verbindungen wichtig werden.
Für welche Steckverbinder kann ich Abdeckungen finden?
.Abdeckungen für Drahtverbindungen benötigen Sie überall dort, wo es notwendig ist, diese Verbindung zu isolieren. Am häufigsten trifft man sie bei festen Steckverbindern an, wo man die Verbindung mit Hilfe einer Crimpzange oder großer Hitze abdichtet. Bei mehr als einer Steckverbindung ist ebenfalls eine Isolierung erforderlich. In diesem Fall ermöglicht der Steckverbinder selbst eine schnelle Trennung des Stromkreises, aber eine erneute Verbindung erfordert eine neue Isolierung.
>Wann sollte ich einen Steckverbinder durch einen neuen ersetzen?
.Aus Funktions- und Konstruktionsgründen sowie aus Kostengründen müssen beschädigte Motorradstecker im Prinzip immer durch neue ersetzt werden. Ein verschlissener oder beschädigter Stecker beeinträchtigt die Funktion des mit dem betreffenden Stromkreis verbundenen Geräts und kann bei einer Störung des Stromflusses zu Schäden führen. Die Ursache für ein Problem mit einem elektrischen Gerät liegt häufig in einem fehlerhaften Anschluss. Dadurch kann das Gerät entweder nicht ausreichend mit Strom versorgt werden oder der übertragene Impuls wird beeinträchtigt.
