Die Mehrscheibenkupplung MV Agusta F4 1000 benötigt zwei Scheibensätze. Eine dieser Scheiben ist mit speziellen Reibbelägen ausgestattet. Die Reibscheiben ermöglichen es, dass die Scheiben miteinander in Kontakt kommen, ohne dass die Gefahr einer Verformung oder eines Abriebs der Metallteile und einer Beschädigung der gesamten Kupplung besteht.
