Wie pflegt man einen Papierluftfilter?
.Papierluftfilter gehören zu den Produkten, die man in der Praxis nicht reparieren oder gar reinigen kann. Die Qualität des Filters spielt daher eine entscheidende Rolle. Wer sich für ein minderwertiges Produkt entscheidet, setzt es automatisch einem schnelleren Verschleiß aus und erhöht das Risiko von Schäden.
>Warum lohnt sich die Reinigung von Papierfiltern nicht?
.Dass die Nassreinigung eines Papierfilters sinnlos ist, weiß wohl jeder Motorradfahrer. In der Praxis fällt es aber auch hier schwer, ihn trocken zu reinigen. Zwar wird man mehr als einmal auf den Vorschlag stoßen, einen solchen Filter zu schütteln und entgegen der Luftströmungsrichtung zu blasen, aber eine solche Reinigung wird nur einen Teil der Schmutzpartikel aus dem Filter entfernen. Außerdem können Sie hier leicht die Struktur des Filters verschlechtern und zu, nicht immer sichtbaren, Rissen führen. .Wann der Papierluftfilter an einem Motorrad gewechselt werden sollte, hängt im Wesentlichen von zwei Faktoren ab:

Bei geländegängigen Motorrädern und aggressiver Fahrweise sollte der Papierfilter jedoch bereits nach 4.000-7.000 Kilometern ausgetauscht werden. Die Abnutzungserscheinungen des Filters verraten hier viel, sowohl Beschädigungen und Verschmutzungen, als auch eine schlechtere Motorleistung.

.Dass der Luftfilter seine Aufgabe nicht mehr erfüllt, merkt man am ehesten an einem schlechteren Motorlauf und unverbranntem Kraftstoff. Der Motor saugt zu wenig Luft an, wodurch das Gemisch zu fett ist und nicht vollständig verbrannt wird. Aber Vorsicht: Eine schlechtere Motorleistung kann auch durch verschmutzte Luft aufgrund von Filterschäden und Schmutz in der Verbrennungskammer entstehen. In jedem Fall muss hier der Papierluftfilter gewechselt werden.

.Obwohl Sie auf dem Markt höherwertige Papierfilter finden, wird ein einfacher Filterwechsel die Motorleistung nicht verbessern. Denken Sie daran, dass Sie die Kraftstoffzufuhr an den erhöhten Luftstrom anpassen müssen und auch die Auspuffanlage anpassen müssen.
