Bei dem von KTM Adventure 640 verwendeten Ventilsystem werden spezielle Ventilstößel verwendet, um die Bewegung der Nockenwelle auf den Kipphebel zu übertragen. Ein ausreichend langer und korrekt montierter Stößel überträgt die Bewegung der Nockenwelle verlustfrei auf den Kipphebel. Bei einigen Systemen gleichen die Ventilstößel auch das Spiel zwischen Nockenwelle und Ventil aus. Denken Sie jedoch daran, dass unabhängig von der Funktion der Stößel, KTM Adventure 640 die richtige Größe, Qualität und Montage voraussetzt. Bei Verschleiß, Verformung oder fehlerhaftem Einbau besteht die Gefahr, dass die Leistung mindestens eines Zylinders beeinträchtigt wird oder sogar der gesamte Motor ausfällt.
