In der Hinterradaufhängung Arctic Cat Cat 300 kommen Bauteile zum Einsatz, die ständig ihre Position zueinander verändern. Um hier die Verluste so gering wie möglich zu halten und eine unerwünschte Seitwärtsbewegung der Bauteile zu verhindern, werden an den Stoßdämpfer-Arm-Gelenken spezielle Lager eingesetzt. Entsprechend abgestimmte hintere Stoßdämpferlager sorgen für Drehfreiheit gegenüber der Schwinge und verhindern eine seitliche Bewegung des Stoßdämpfers. Aufgrund ihrer Funktion verschleißen die hinteren Stoßdämpferlager mit der Zeit. [Moto] fordert daher eine regelmäßige Inspektion des Systems und, falls ein Lager beschädigt ist, den sofortigen Austausch gegen ein neues. Dies gilt sowohl für die Lager selbst als auch für die Sicherungselemente, Dichtungen oder Buchsen.
